Carraig Linguistic Services was founded in 1975 and is one of Cork's longest established language schools. We are committed to providing our students with the very best English language education to help them achieve their goals in an affordable and timely manner.

Our main Language Centre is located in the heart of Cork city in one of the most prestigious secondary schools in Ireland. We offer excellent teaching facilities, quality host family accommodation and a social, activity and cultural programme to help ensure that our students get the most out of their stay in Cork.

Carraig is a leading provider in Ireland of English language and activity courses for Juniors aged between 11 - 17 years. In addition to our Summer language courses we can also tailor make a programme to suit the specific needs of your group.

Carraig Linguistic Services is recognised by the Department of Education and Skills for English language teaching and is also a member of ACELS - Accreditation and Co-ordination of English language services.

Teachers

Teachers are highly qualified University graduates and generally full-time teachers who have an appropriate recognized TEFL Qualification as well as normal qualifications such as BA,BSc,HDE and TEFL.

Host Families

We are working in this business in Cork for 35 years and our host families are reliable and well trusted. We visit them in the off-season and leaders are free to visit them during the students stay. New host families are sought through personal recommendation and we are very proud to work with some of the best host families in Cork.
